- Factory fabrication: Wall panels are manufactured in a climate-controlled factory environment where components like framing studs, sheathing, and sometimes finishes like insulation, air/moisture barriers, Integrated Window & Door Rough Openings, AC/Vent Box Openings, Mech/Elect Stud Knock Outs and even windows and doors are pre-assembled
- Precision and accuracy: Machine-controlled cuts and pre-drilled screw holes ensure all pieces fit together precisely, leading to a more accurate and structurally sound product.
- Factory Installed Exterior Sub-Sheathing, Outboard Rigid Insulation, & Thermally Insulated Closed Members
- Quality control: A controlled environment minimizes errors and allows for high-quality control checks before the panels are shipped. Straight / Plumb Walls without Shrinkage
- On-site assembly: Once on-site, the panels are lifted and assembled by a crane or other equipment. Since the components are pre-cut and labeled, installation is much faster than traditional on-site framing.
- Coordination: Because framing happens quickly, it is important to coordinate with other trades like electricians and plumbers to ensure they are ready to work once the shell is enclosed.
- Waste reduction: Building in a factory setting generates less on-site waste compared to traditional construction methods
